BYOD 2023
Waitaki Boys' is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) school. Please refer to the "Students" link on the cover page of the school website (then go to "Information") to get information about BYOD. Noel Leeming in Oamaru deal with most of the new students coming to school and will know what you need.
Uniform requirements for 2023 are as follows
JUNIORS ONLY. Blue school shirt, grey shorts (or long grey trousers or Tupenu), school socks, black school shoes.
SENIORS ONLY. White school shirt, school tie, grey shorts or long grey trousers, socks (grey or black), black school shoes. For Year 13 students it is compulsory to wear a school blazer.
Timetable 2023
You will be able to access your son's 2023 timetable on the Kamar portal from January 1st 2023. He will know how to access the portal.
Bus Transport 2023
The school bus services for 2023 will run exactly as they have in 2022 but with a different provider - Pearsons.

Healthy lunches 2023
In 2022 Waitaki Boys' opted into the Ka Ora Ka Ako schools Healthy Lunches programme. This means every boy at school will be provided with a free, healthy lunch. The canteen will remain open at interval only. The lunch programme has been contracted out to an external provider - the Compass group (who currently cater for Don House). All the lunches will be made in the dining hall kitchen and distributed to the students in the dining hall.
